WEEKLY MEETING

The second Weekly Meeting of Rotary Payyanur for the Rotary Year 2026–27 was held on 14 July 2026 at Rotary Bhavan, Keloth, under the leadership of President Rtn Dr Sudha Santhosh, with an encouraging attendance of 54 members. The meeting reviewed key decisions of the Directors' Board, including membership development, the upcoming Club Assembly, Rotary Karmakshetra Tailoring Programme, Oral Hygiene Awareness Project, Rotary Sahachari Subsidised Auto Rickshaw Scheme, CSR educational initiative with Malabar Gold, and the proposed LN-4 Prosthetic Hand Distribution Camp. Members also approved the audited accounts for 2025–26 and the Installation Ceremony accounts. A highlight of the evening was an inspiring Classification Talk by Rtn Anees Thayyil, Founder & CEO of Olivo Software Company Pvt. Ltd., on "Olivo ERP – Driving Digital Transformation for Smarter Businesses." Wedding anniversary mementos were presented to two Rotary families.

DB MEETING FOR JULY 2026

The Directors' Board Meeting of Rotary Payyanur, held on 10 July 2026 under the leadership of President Rtn Dr Sudha Santhosh, focused on planning impactful service initiatives for the Rotary year. Key decisions included finalising sub-committees, scheduling the first Club Assembly, launching the Rotary Karmakshetra tailoring programme, implementing an Oral Hygiene Project benefiting around 600 school students, and progressing the Rotary Sahachari subsidised autorickshaw scheme. The Board also advanced plans for a Global Grant Critical Care Newborn Unit at Government Medical College, Pariyaram, an LN-4 Prosthetic Hand Distribution Camp, CSR education projects with Malabar Gold, membership development, Multi-District RLI, and family fellowship programmes. These initiatives reflect Rotary Payyanur's commitment to sustainable community service, healthcare, education, vocational development, and membership growth.

FIRST WEEKLY MEETING FOR THE YEAR 2026-27

First Weekly Meeting for the year 2025-26 was conducted on 07 July 2026 at Rotary Bhavan, Keloth. During the meeting, the club completed the administrative handover, initiated the renovation of Rotary Bhavan, and presented the annual budget and club dues. A proposal from Government College, Peringome, for establishing a Miyawaki Forest was received and considered as part of our environmental initiatives. Rotary India observes July as Maternal and Child Health Month. Rtn Dr Vinod Kumar M delivered an informative session on Maternal & Child Health, area of focus designated for July. Members are encouraged to participate actively in service projects, strengthen membership, support The Rotary Foundation, and enhance Rotary's public image through meaningful community service.
